WHY OUR PRICES HAVE INCREASED, AND MAY CONTINUE TO DO SO:
Effective January 1st, 2017, the North Carolina Republican majority has levied a sales tax on LABOR for services performed to real property. This includes plumbing contracting. This, in conjunction with the Democrat Party's ACA and the increasing prices of supplies and materials, has increased our costs of operation significantly. We strive to meet the price that the market will bear, but you, the consumer, need to know that if our economy will remain "vibrant," as the politicians like to put it, this ever increasing cost of compliance must stop. Both major political parties have done an equal amount of damage. To keep up with the volatile legislative environment in business matters, we adjust our prices annually. As regulations increase our costs, so will our prices.
I care deeply for those who struggle financially. But as regulations on commerce increase, so will our prices. We simply cannot absorb any more rises in cost.
